Friday, May 5, 2023 - A recent purchase from retail. 4 bottles at $75 each. These bottles must have been stored well as they all had good fill levels for a 27 year old wine. Opening opening, the colour seemed somewhat NOT brown! Did not seem that old at all. Maybe 15 years… Realised it needed some air and I decanted for 5 hours and it really opened up. Gorgeous stuff! Nothing too extravagant, just a well made aged Médoc. These particular bottles could go on for another ten yers at least. Definitely worth the money. Lovely stuff!
