Sunday, May 7, 2023 - The negative first; The acidity and tannins in this wine are slightly higher than I prefer, but, it does not make this a bad wine (thus the score). The bold, long lasting finish along with the flavors of blackberries, cassis, and floral make for a strong wine that definitely holds up against grilled steaks and such (think exotic game meats). There as still a lot of life in this bottle, so I guess I will wait another year. Please stand by.
