Sunday, May 14, 2023 - Life affirming bottle of Syrah, it really is. How this producer remains under the radar for so long is one of the greatest mysteries in wine. At Domaine Fauterie, Sylvain Bernard is making world class Syrah of the highest tier.
It started out with smoke, olive, cured meat, bacon fat then it transitioned to pure dried/baked cherry aromas and flavors. Incredibly pure. Alluring nose that kept pulling you back in for a sip. What a talent.
