Sunday, May 17, 2009 - Six bottles, Chaine Dinner at Gayle. The fills were all base neck or better and the corks were sound. A dark ruby core turning to garnet at the rim. An outgoing bouquet, offering up notes of ripe dark fruits, lilly, anise and spice. Medium-bodied on the palate, with a lush texture, good concentration, and a focused finish. Drinking wonderfully at present.
