Monday, May 22, 2023 - Part of a Syrah/Shiraz afternoon tasting. Two hour decant. Primary purple. Still quite young but stitched together nicely. Ripe black fruit and a touch of cinnamon and vanilla. Meaty and blackberries on the palate. Acidity is upfront but not disruptive. Alcohol and tannin are behaving. Went very well with the salty crackling on Chinese prepared pork belly and crispy duck skin.
