Sunday, May 7, 2023 - Black Lion Wine Club - Lib Dem Italian Tasting (The Black Lion): Deep amber. Dried fig, almonds, hazelnuts, toffee, caramel. Long finish. Sweet but not luscious - has great balancing acidity that cuts through the residual sugar and the fruit. Almost palate cleansing at the end of a lovely Italian wine tasting.
