Sunday, June 4, 2023 - Don’t have much experience with wines in the Clarete style, but I need to get more! Appearance is that of a dark Rosé, more of a salmon color, fresh on the nose, with some light spice notes, hints of melon; palate is flavorful, plenty of acidity, some light but noticeably tannins, strawberries, honeydew, peppery spice notes again coming through on the finish. Quite interesting and delicious!
