Monday, July 3, 2023 - This modestly priced Rose exceeds expectations. The aluminum cap is absolutely not an indication of the wine's quality. Pale pink color makes you suspect lack of fruit but then the aromas of red fruit surprise to the upside. The palate is somewhat dry but sweet enough and there is enough crisp acidity to support the red fruit which is further enhanced with citrus notes. This is even better after 48 hours open and chilled to 45F. Will buy a few more to enjoy in warm summer months.
