We drank it over the next hour or two and it became more astringent and unbalanced as it warmed. I don’t know if they still make wines like this, but I hope they don’t in 2023. The style is dead. Yes, you can make an overripe, over extracted wine with decent acidity in Paso but why would you. Truly a horrible wine to any one interested in balance and terroir. I tried it again on night two. The fruit faded and it had an astringent finish with a hot alcohol burn.
