Sunday, July 30, 2023 - One of the best white Bordeaux out there; nose is very tropical with some white peaches, a little licorice and a hint of lemongrass; Body is medium + (but I would not describe it as full body), palate is all ripe fruit; it's missing the bright acidity of later vintages, so this is a very well balanced wine. Great long finish with some nutty notes, just to remind you that it was oak aged. It will be interesting to see how it develops in the next few years.
