Sunday, July 2, 2023 - OK, and in the style of a French bistro Beaujolais from a while back, so ticks the boxes for true to type. Had better at this price point though. Wouldn't rush back for it.
12/15/2023 2:43:00 AM - I paid about £12 for it a couple of years ago. It's no longer listed with The Wine Society here, but on sale elsewhere for £18-19 a bottle which is too much IMO. If you take the price point today at c£15, then there are lots of very good Beaujolais around and below this price. I've enjoyed a Moulin a Vent by Piron for £16, also a lovely Beaujolais Villages (Wine Society own label) for just over £10. I have found Piron and Burgaud to be generally good....not sure what availability is like in US or at what price?
