Friday, August 11, 2023 - Decided to just open this up, have a glass and then pour it down the sink based on my previous note. Well, muggins here should have applied his old/decrepit Bordeaux rule to this as well (give it some air & hope it comes together). The oxidised notes are here but they are joined by leather, earth, red cherry, sweet spice, leather, sous bois, mushroom, earth...there is a touch of fruit sweetness on the palate as well as talc textured burr joining. Rather nice.
