Wednesday, August 16, 2023 - {screwcap, 13%} Deep yellow, verging on gold. Rockmelon and lanolin nose. Squash aromas. But nicer than vegetables! Medium weight palate, yellowing fruit, slightly greasy texture although the acidity cuts through at the end. Always dry. Nicely mature, medium/long finish. Will hold, may still evolve. Another five years won’t hurt; good effort from a cheap wine already twenty years old.
