Friday, August 18, 2023 - Brought by Fletcher to Vivat Bacchus. Nose is slightly restrained at first but opens to reveal black and red cherry fruit, spice, sandalwood. Medium/full bodied, lovely pure cherry fruit, spice, sandalwood again, some firm but fine tannins still providing structure and grip towards the finish, fresh acidity, very good length. Lovely, drinking now but may still improve.
