Thursday, August 24, 2023 - Napa 2023 - The Sequel; 8/23/2023-8/28/2023: Opened 4-5 hrs from a prior tasting, this was the biggest of the wines, some black cherry and primarily sweet juicy plum at this stage. Oak at bay, but a nice tannic backbone carried this along to a medium-long finish. Drink now with 5-6 hr of air or lay down 5-6 years.
