Saturday, September 9, 2023 - Completely closed upon opening. Even after hours in the decanter it just stays muted. Maybe some blackberries here and something like eucalyptus or menthol, but not expressive at all. The palate is rustic, dark, structured, quite full bodied and dense, and extremely tannic. Where is the fruit? Maybe this needs more time? Puzzling showing tonight. 15/20
