Enjoyable on day one after a four hour decant but better on day two as it opened-up some more as expected. Dark ruby fruit - currants, blackberry, and dark cherry. Smooth mid-palate with a nice purity and decent depth/concentration. Nice vibrant flavors of cassis, cocoa, some spice, and a mineral/graphite component. Decent finish but not overly long nor deep. 93 on day one and 94 on day two. Although it is obviously really young and will also benefit from some time. A nice vintage of this wine. 96% cab sauvignon and 4% cab franc.
