Friday, September 15, 2023 - Showed really nicely alongside some very impressive wines (Grand Echezaux, Lynch Bages). Still quite primary but very enjoyable - very soft and friendly on first approach, with tannins then starting to show more clearly. Tannins aren't fully resolved and integrated yet but are quite enjoyable. Violets, roses, tar, forest, red cherry. Nice pairing with roast maitake in tomato/eggplant ragu.
