Saturday, October 7, 2023 - Stood up the day before. A light ruby core fading to a medium garnet outer edge. Stunning aromas of black cherry bursts from the glass alongside black shoe polish, dried hedgerow, and a slightly peppery component potentially hinting at some whole cluster fermentation. The black cherry re-emerges on the palate, which has considerable structure and concentration. An excellent Burgundy.
