Monday, June 8, 2009 - Popped and poured. Dark purple with garnet rim. Nose of vanilla, cedar, black cherry. Full bodied palate of dark fruit, spice, cedar, licorice, and minerals. Long finish with a little chocolate. Smooth tannins. Pleasant acidity. Toasty oak. Should last several more years, but why wait?
