Sunday, October 15, 2023 - Found this a little ponderous. The alcohol really comes through. Dark fruits, with an almost baked quality. No freshness here. It's not terribly tannic, but it's a big wine in the sense that the fruit and richness and alcohol are a bit overwhelming. Must have food, it's just too much on it's own. I'm a little surprised, as I love the Failla wines, but I am unable to get into this.
