Wednesday, November 1, 2023 - I thought I would revisit this wine after about six months. This wine just does not need decanting. It is absolutely at its best immediately after you take out the cork. This is very much a pop and pour wine and I am ALL ABOUT decanting for hours and hours (just read my notes) but it just doesn’t need it!

It is a lovely wine and good value, but I wonder why it declines so quickly after an hour or so of air. Most likely due to 2012 being a very forward vintage and the fact this is a second wine.
