Saturday, November 4, 2023 - Bob’s cellar. Fine delicate red, no bricking. Delicate and fine nose, aged Shiraz fruit, raspberries, earth, blackcurrant cordial, cherry kitsch, lovely. Flavours are muted, slight redcurrant tartness, tannins are very distant (most were encrusted on the inside of the bottle), interesting. Day 2 and this is lovely. Refined and delicate. There’s a tiny prune note, it’s fresh, anise and Christmas, red fruit. Very good. 40 years old and drinking superbly.
