Saturday, November 4, 2023 - Coming back again. Now almost 25 years old. Opened for 3 hours. Color is still deep garnet/purple but orange rim. On the nose: Plum, cassis, cinnamon, espresso and some dark chocolate. On the palate: Rich plum, cassis, a hint of cherry, baking spices, graphite and cinnamon. This is superb and I bet has decades left. I am down to only two bottles of my old case. I will try to wait a few years to see how it evolves but it’s fabulous. Also only 13% alcohol which I appreciate. My score keeps climbing but I am not a metronome.
