Saturday, November 4, 2023 - Grand Jury du Vin - Republic of Georgia; 11/1/2023-11/9/2023 (Republic of Georgia then stopover in Paris and Dijon): Expressive nose displaying concentrated red fruit, strawberry, cherry, sous bois, grilled cep, sweet spices and earth. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of sweet red fruit, warm and round, perfect amount of acidity, strong earthy mineral, and a long sweet red fruit driven finish. This is a rare bird. Drinking really well but can improve, adding more tertiary/sous bois note.
