Sunday, November 12, 2023 - PnP. Dark fruited on the nose and palate with notes of cedar and a bit of graphite after time in the glass. Medium bodied, perhaps a bit lighter than most zinfandel. Slightly grippy tannins which was not surprising in a wine so young, but not nearly as present as I was expecting. What struck me more than anything was the medium++ acid. This wines was really juicy and refreshing and even though it wasn't everything I want in a zinfandel, I kept coming back for another sip. I don't typically open wines this young but I'm glad I did. Need to get a few more and lay them down for awhile. Nice weeknight quaff.
