Saturday, November 18, 2023 - Fans of top-flight Aussie chards go for a Leeuwin Estate or Tolpuddle, which are both outstanding, but a Shaw + Smith M3 is not too far behind both and a terrific value at under US$30. Linear, with peach and beeswax notes, it's just crisp enough and just mellow enough to go all right with just about anything. When I can find it cheap, it's the new house chardonnay.
