Thursday, June 11, 2009 - A real treat to follow this over the course of a long evening... Deep, youthful purple color, nearly opaque at the rim. Aromas of herb and dark berry. The palate has a powerful expression of sage wrapped blackberry/cherry with chewy tannins and a root beer finish that got more and more supple and expressive as time passed. Seems this is just leaving the early drinking station, and has a long life ahead of it.
