Friday, November 24, 2023 - We served this with the Thanksgiving turkey alongside among others a very fine bottle of Pichon Lalande 1989. Opened and poured, and surprisingly drinkable, although optimally 10-15 years. This was voted the wine of the night. Mixture of apricot and minerality, honey and spices. The complexity even at this early stage made it special, but what brought it to another level was the balance, the mid palate lift and the length of the finish.
