Thursday, June 11, 2009 - We had the unexpected gift of the kids being gone on overnight sleepovers, so we dashed off to eat some Indian food. We needed a big, bold wine that could hold up to the curry-heavy food. This was the perfect match. This is an extremely well made wine. Wonderfully open fruit, with some big underlying complexity, and a nice smooth finish. A tad of underlying sweetness, and everything in balance. A very good wine.
