Sunday, November 26, 2023 - I would have thought this was a petite sirah based on the color in the glass...this is a huge inky wine. The nose has mushroom, baking spices, stewed plums and dried oak leaf. On the palate there is dried cherry, graphite, leather, pomegranate, and rutabaga. Not much fruit but still an interesting wine.
