Saturday, June 13, 2009 - Opened this up while sorting out the cabin celllar. Surprised how good it is given the weak 2000 vintage. Funky tar and bloody meat on the nose will turn off some. On the palate, medium bodied but quite full of fruit. A green note that slides off to a pine needle flavor that I really enjoy. The whole package doesn't past long though. Air (after 15 minutes or so) is not this wine's friend.
