Sunday, December 10, 2023 - I decanted this for a good 2 hours before I started drinking. Lots of reduction hanging around. Dark red fruit on the nose which became more austere the longer it was open. Palate of red fruit, some herby subtle notes (juniper?) with a bit of minerality on the finish. Refreshing acidity and some tannins that settle towards the front of the tongue. These are all day, one notes, and we’ll see what the second half of the bottled has to offer.

Edit day 2: took a bit but then, all of a sudden things were more open. Some spice, flowers, red crunchy fruit, mineral finish. Elegant. Enjoyable and worth some contemplation.
