Tuesday, December 19, 2023 - Marionberries in the nose. Still quite dark. Medium+ body. Tannic structure is evident and needed about 45 minutes to release some of the fruit which has begun to transition. Although this is a big wine, the blend - 50% Cab Sauv, 25% each of Merlot and Cab Franc - are well integrated and show a rich nicely nuanced note of dark berry fruit with some earthy/gravelly note. Perhaps this is still 5 years from its potential but excellent right now.
