Wednesday, October 4, 2023 - Visits in the Wachau and Kamptal; 10/4/2023-10/5/2023 (In and around the Wachau and Kamptal, Lower Austria): The nose is straightforward and balanced with green apples, peaches, white fruits, papaya, elderflowers, banana notes, and some mineral tones as well to round it out. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and deft with tart, high acidity. The acidity is mouthwatering and refreshing with the balance and straightforward nature of the nose carrying through on the palate. This is a decent enough, but somewhat forgettable Riesling. It's fine, but not much more.
