Friday, January 12, 2024 - Really an interesting and unique Sangiovese. Earthy, definitive funk of barnyard on the nose, a little leather and a touch of wet cardboard. Tannins still a little grippy after 2 hours, fruit is restrained. Acidity definitely low which I don’t mind, sometimes rosso or chianti acid is just too much for me. Nice balance here. Got the price this is a fun wine which stands out.
