Sunday, January 14, 2024 - Just so good. Bit of sponti on the nose that blew off (not bothersome at all) but this is a very singular wine. Does not taste at all like most 22’s I’ve had, and I mean that in a good way.

Absolutely one of the most mineral-driven GG’s I’ve had. Like licking salty stones with some lime pith and light green apple notes. Hint of dried herbs (thyme-like) and all framed up by searing acids. Sort of a Chablis-like take on Chardonnay if we were to look across varietals. Letting my other bottles sleep for at least 3-5 years, but this is a style many burg heads would love. 93++ from me as I think there’s a lot of upside but likely selling this wine short drinking it today…
