Monday, January 29, 2024 - A good bit of oaky wood on the nose here, almost a men’s cologne-like note, perhaps sandalwood. Reminds me of a childhood friend’s home where the father consistently wore a sandalwood-heavy fragrance that seemed to cling to every soft surface. The palette is quite different than the nose, for me, at least. I get a lot of hard aged cheese here, parmigiana, so naturally it’s salty in the best possible way. Fascinating. The wine is well balanced, with great acidity. This producer blocks malo and it shows in that higher acidity.

    5/4/2024 5:40:00 AM - Pourtant tous les vins du Domaine sont vinifiés à 100% dans des cuves en Inox. Pas du tout de bois au Domaine.
