Wednesday, January 24, 2024 - At Noble Rot, Mayfair. Double-decanted. Nail polish notes from the onset were quite distracting. Underneath, however, lingers a filigree bed of mushrooms, bright red fruit and sour cherry. Also floral accents keep popping up. There is good tension and nice acidity with the structure fully intact. Unfortunately not as pristine a bottle as the last one, although optically the condition of the bottle was impeccable. But luckily the potential of the previous bottle shone through time and again.
