93 Points

Friday, February 2, 2024 - Last night at our monthly CWG we had a couple canceled so we were going to be only 2 couples for the tasting and we decided to do it double blind. So my girlfriend picked from my cellar, double decanted it for about 30 min and went to the restaurant.

The wine is dark ruby, medium to medium plus body, nice aromatic nose, a pit high in acidity with plenty of rounded tannins, fairly complex but not much secondary notes (just yet) and a silky finish.

I will give this wine another 2-5 years in the cellar to archive its peak and then should last at least 10 years drinking great. I have 2 375ml and 2 750ml left, so the splits will go down in a year or so and the remaining ones after 2027…

93+ drink or preferably HOLD!
