Thursday, February 15, 2024 - Medium pale ruby red with pink rim, and hint of orange tint. Redcurrant, dark cherry, raspberry, stewed strawberry, blueberry, rhubarb, vanilla, pu-er tea, spices, tobacco, dried fig, dried herbs, honey, ice cream cone, and mild leather. Medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium-high structure, medium alcohol and long finish with residual sugar. Wine was still in secondary fruity phase with mainly red berry fruits, and not much tertiary notes. Complex, layered, bold yet restrain. Velvet, creamy and youthful.

This bottle needed more years in cellar to show its true potential.
