Monday, February 19, 2024 - Color is burgundy red. Nose is interesting, with smoke, cigar box, vanilla, cherry, red fruits, black pepper, florals. Mouthfeel is relatively thin. Palate is spicy, lots of heat on the front, black pepper, red fruit comes through. Flavors are a bit jumbled and alcoholic. Tannins need time to settle down. Overall, this came across as too peppery and lacking in complexity for me.
