Sunday, March 17, 2024 - Decanted for 3 hours. Very approachable at this stage, but still quite primary. The tannins have softened but are still prominent. Dark berries, spice, graphite and a hint of mushroom.
Deep ruby colour.
Pronounced aromas of cassis, blackberry, black cherry, cinnamon, nutmeg, licorice, graphite, cedar, tobacco, mint, lavender, a hint of mushroom.
Pronounced palate.
Medium (+) body, high acidity, high tannin, long finish.
