Monday, March 18, 2024 - With hindsight I see this is part sangiovese. Makes sense! Nice wine, some spice and (in a good way) garrigue notes, mellow and aged with good acidity, cherry fruits. Absolutely needs food. Would be good with porcetta. Quite Italian-like in a way. Probably needs drinking fairly soon, though one of my bottles will be kept in storage to see what happens!
