Sunday, March 24, 2024 - Straight into my veins. Gorgeous riesling performing at a still-youthful peak level. A little deeper in tone with the yellow shades than this was on release, but not any deeper than many *other* rieslings are on release. It's succulent with creamy pineapple giving it lusciousness and green apple and a chalky, talc-like texture hitting the high notes. Sweetness is more spatlese than auslese by modern standards but it finishes dry and refreshing and you can drink it all night without the sweetness making it taxing.
