Thursday, March 28, 2024 - This is quite dark coloured, full and round for left bank claret. There is some dark fruit but rather shy and brooding aromas, some earth and depth and marked but ripe tannins. However, for me, it is somewhat marred by hints of perfumed vanilla, particularly towards the finish. These may integrate better in a few years, but until then only quite good.
