Wednesday, April 17, 2024 - drank over two days. clear and deeply gold. nose is rosy with ripe persimmon and a hint of licorice and alcohol. light bodied with medium acidity. well balanced with a smooth entry. more rose flavors with peaches and apricots on the palate. long, lightly heated finish with some clove or nutmeg. very dry but with sweet fruit flavors. i'd imagine this will age seamlessly and gain complexity. as always a real stunner from this producer and of excellent quality at the price.
