Tuesday, April 16, 2024 - Opened at Table by Bruno Verjus. P&P and enjoyed slowly.

Not quite as good as previous bottle in Geneva, but my god the 2020 DRC whites are drinking well. Rich, buttery, popcorn, toasted seasme, vanilla aromas - everything is there; balanced with great precision, acidity, salinity, minerals galore.

This may be infanticide, as I'm sure this will continue to age gracefully and perhaps even improve - but it really is so tempting now. If you are lucky enough to have one, you won't regret it!

Thanks again to B for looking after me - always a pleasure and a great catch-up in Paris.
