Saturday, April 27, 2024 - Garnet in the glass. Nose is expressive, with pepper, raspberries, strawberries compôte, vanilla. Medium acidity, fresh, red berries-loaded, secondary notes of forest floor, bell peppers; medium tannins, long finish with oak, white pepper, and raspberries.
Better than the first bottle I had two years ago - very Oregon-like which means not terribly elegant but mostly fruit-driven. A good wine, but nothing terribly exciting.
