Saturday, April 27, 2024 - Another delicious bottle of this wine which opened with a deep crimson robe of colour and a rich nose of blackcurrants, garnet plums, fruit cake, cedar and dark chocolate. The palate initially is rich and round with an initially deceptive glossiness that with time in the glass developed classic Paulliac austerity and line to match the layers of fruit. There's a touch of 82 about this wine suggesting that time will highlight the structure and complexity of this alongside the delicious fruit characters.
